Sessions
A moment's insight is sometimes worth a life's experience.
The purpose of the introductory session is to consider the issues you wish to bring to therapy, to see how we get on, and to review in person any questions you might have about the work. This normally lasts about 45 minutes.
If we both feel happy to proceed, we will arrange a regular day and time to meet. Sessions are held on a weekly basis and are for 50 minutes. The initial commitment is for 6 sessions, after which we will jointly review the work.
Consulting Rooms
My consulting rooms are located in Central, North, and North West London.
Stillpoint Spaces is in a quiet building in the heart of Clerkenwell, a short walking distance from Farringdon tube and train station and also within easy reach of Angel, Chancery Lane, and Barbican tube stations.
West Hill House is a quiet building in Swain’s Lane, one of Highgate’s most charming streets. It is within 50 metres of Hampstead Heath and with easy access to bus, train and underground. Local restaurants and cafés add to the friendly, village atmosphere.
I also see clients from NW3 (Hampstead, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill).
Walk & Talk Therapy
For some people, talking therapy in a therapy room might not be their preferred way to start or stay in therapy. I am a great admirer of Hampstead Heath and spend much time there walking, reading, writing, and swimming.
I have found it a great resource for my own well-being, nourishing for mind, body, and soul. I am happy to walk, sit and talk in this beautiful outdoor environment which is a stone’s throw from my practice room if you believe this form of therapy could help you with moving forward through the challenges you are currently facing.
